Terms of Service

By using the services provided by Car Repair New Britain at 1108 East Street, New Britain, CT 06051, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Our Services

Car Repair New Britain provides automotive repair, tire retail, and vehicle maintenance services, including:

  • Tire sales, installation, rotation, balancing, and repair
  • Brake inspection, pad and rotor replacement, brake fluid service
  • Oil changes, fluid service, and multi-point Performance Reviews
  • A/C diagnosis, recharge, and heating system repair
  • Battery testing, replacement, and electrical diagnostics
  • Exhaust, muffler, and emissions-related repair
  • Steering and suspension repair, including wheel alignment
  • Scheduled maintenance and pre-purchase used-car inspections

2. Estimates & Pricing

All service estimates are provided in writing and are based on the condition of your vehicle at the time of inspection. Actual repair costs may vary if additional issues are discovered during service; we will contact you for authorization before proceeding with any work not covered by the original estimate.

Prices are quoted in US dollars and are subject to change based on parts availability and market pricing.

3. 30-Day Tire Price Guarantee

If, within 30 days of purchasing tires from us, you find the same tire (identical brand, model, size, and load rating) at a lower price from a competitor within our local service area, present the written quote to us and we will refund the difference. The guarantee applies to the tire only, not to related services.

4. Warranty

All repairs performed by our ASE-certified technicians carry a parts-and-labor warranty. Warranty duration varies by service and part type; specific warranty terms are provided at the time of service and shown on your invoice.

5. Vehicle Storage & Pickup

Vehicles must be picked up within a reasonable time after service completion. Storage fees may apply for vehicles left more than 5 business days after notification of completion.

6. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service. We accept cash, credit card, and debit card. Vehicles will be released only after payment in full.

7. Cancellations & No-Shows

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice. Same-day cancellations for larger service appointments may result in a rescheduling fee. Walk-in oil changes require no appointment.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not responsible for personal items left in your vehicle. We recommend removing valuables before your service appointment.
